Poole Angling - The Boat

'Sea Tradar', launched in 1981 at Poole, is a 32' purpose-built angling boat and powered by a Mermaid Mariner 120hp six cylinder diesel engine.

She is licensed and insured for a total of twelve persons and operates in accordance with the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) code of practice for charter boats, C.O.P. Category 4 (up to 20 miles from a safe haven).
Consequently, a life-raft, full emergency and personal safety equipment (lifejackets, first aid kit, etc.) is carried.

A comprehensive array of navigational aids and safety equipment is fitted including two VHF radios, (one is DSC), GPS Navigator, GPS Chart Plotter, LCD Echo Sounder and Furuno radar

There is also a sea water flush WC on board.
